| 6pm - 7pm OPEN LIST Poets will be announced, in order, from the primary sign-up list located at the sound booth. ONE POEM of THREE MINUTES or LESS. A secondary list will rotate through those who have already read, but NEW ARRIVALS will have priority. |
| 8pm - Xpm FEATURES FIVE to SEVEN poets are booked in advance and will present 10-15 minutes of their work. If you would like to feature, see Dave for info. david@rmpoetryaustin.com |
| Xpm - 9pm LOTTERY Sign-up for the Open Lottery is SEPARATE from the Open List. Poets may place their names on this list ANYTIME from 6pm-8pm. Sign-up CLOSES at 8pm. NO EXCEPTIONS. Poets will be called RANDOMLY to present ONE POEM of THREE MINUTES or LESS. Please be ready when your name is called. You may or may not get a second chance. Sign-up is not a guarantee of reading. The night ends promptly at 9pm, or at the Host's discretion. |

| NO MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS the music sign-up is upstairs at 8:30pm one poem at a time of three minutes or less- if you have a longer piece you would like to present, see Dave about appearing as a feature. present your own original work. while RMPOM respects the aspect of spontaneous or "free-flow" expression, this is a venue to showcase the efforts and composition of local and visiting writers. please read or perform from prepared work. no a capella vocals unless employed as an aesthetic device in a primarily spoken piece. narrative fiction, stand-up comedy, religious/political/commercial announcements, interpretive dance, puppets, etc. are highly discouraged. this is an uncensored, adult themed venue- participants should be at least 16 years of age.
